I long to set up a book club but having only lived in the area for a few months I still don't feel I have enough clout to start one of my own. It's not that I am totally shy but I have a slight tendency to hang back and assess the situation before I plunge in and take over. Not good I know.
Busily knitting a purple scarf that is going to wing its way from NZ to the Uk to be a Christmas pressie for my best friend there. It's her favourite colour and will be perfect for the wintertime in the Uk. She can think of me as she walks the dogs.
Still knitting. Still crazy.

The best clubs often start small, I bet if you asked just one person she'd join you. It only takes 2 people to make a group and before you know it others would want to join you. Go for it!
