Which is better, unexpected gifts or those we expect? Tough call I think. I love the build up to a celebration whether I'm the giver or the receiver. But for now let's think as the receiver. The fluttery bubble of anticipation that gurgles around inside making you smile every so often. The warm fuzzy feelings of longing and desire as you ponder the possible presents about to head your way. It's such a pleasant sense of anticipation, moments that can last much longer than the day itself.

But then again the glorious rush, like the fizz of champagne at something unexpected. The fireworks of joy of knowing someone out there cares when you weren't expected it. That's pretty heady stuff too. You feel as though you're glowing, all that kindness.
What do you all think? Would you rather have something unexpected? Let me know.
